The high Landscape Photographer of the Year 2022 photograph captures rural Britain by means of the eyes of somebody who lives and breathes its rustic but timeless allure.

Created by famend British panorama photographer Charlie Waite, the awards chosen their winners from 1000’s of entries. Photographer Will Davies’ entry, a large panorama entitled Brecon in Winter, was the winner of the competitors.

“I love this area in winter, the mountains just feel and look bigger and wilder in the snow,” Davies mentioned in a press launch. “The weather didn’t look promising as I hiked up in the dark, but luckily the sun broke through right at sunrise, just long enough to take this shot.”
