OKLAHOMA CITY — Hilda Shuffield went residence to be with the Lord on October 12, 2022. She died peacefully on the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, together with her household by her aspect. She was born on June 8, 1926 to Autry and Beatrice Howell.
Hilda was a constitution member of Hot Springs Baptist Church, the place she taught Sunday faculty for a few years, and likewise taught at Second Baptist Church. She loved her Sunday School class at Hot Springs Baptist Church, taught by April Gill. She additionally sang in nursing houses with a seniors group at her church and was additionally an encourager, sending playing cards to the sick and others.

She was secretary to 2 Hot Springs mayors for 16 years, secretary to town supervisor in Fayetteville, and a trainer at Lakeside Middle School, from which she retired in 1987.
She was a member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary, Forum Club and PEO member, Chapter BJ.
Hilda moved to Oklahoma City in 2017 to be close to her daughter and household and moved in together with her in 2020. While residing in Oklahoma City, she attended Highland Hills Baptist Church.
Her biggest pleasure was being together with her household and plenty of associates, in addition to fellowshipping together with her church household. She beloved touring and studying.
Hilda handed away from her dad and mom; her husband, ET Shuffield; and one grandchild, Kari Knapp Evans.
