Syracuse University’s Student Association and Graduate Student Organization accomplice to address issues of environmental sustainability on campus.
Both SA President David Bruen and GSO President Yousr Dhaouadi stated that the teams’ sustainability efforts on campus share quite a few frequent objectives and that combining undergraduate and graduate advocacy efforts will help the progress of each.

Bruen stated that by reaching out to organizations like GSO and different college organizations, SA has realized that communities on SU and SUNY ESF campuses have a eager curiosity in sustainability and sustainable practices. He stated he hopes to carry professors and pupil teams collectively at future conferences.
“We don’t really have to replicate the wheel,” he stated. “We can really just bring all these different voices and different ideas together and turn it into a really constructive (agenda) that I think moves the university forward in a big way.”
